Ink & Bamboo – Poster Series

This project began with traditional brush-and-ink paintings of bamboo, inspired by East Asian calligraphy and nature studies. Each stroke was created by hand, with a focus on flow, rhythm, and restraint.

 

After scanning and digitizing the illustrations, I transformed them into a series of minimalist posters that blend organic texture with clean, contemporary layout.

 

The result is a quiet visual dialogue between analogue craft and digital design—evoking the calm and simplicity often associated with Japanese aesthetics.
